  • Descrição: Laya Films documentary made during the Spanish Civil War on the Battle of Teruel. With a map of the peninsula as reference, the areas occupied by each army at the end of 1937 -the rebel zone and the allied zone- are highlighted. The military operations carried out by the Republican army between 15 and 19 December of that year are also explained, outlining the objective of retaking Teruel and thus prevent the fascists from cutting Catalonia and Aragon off from the rest of the Republican zone. The film concludes by highlighting both the successful actions of the Popular Army and the impact the news of the city's conquest had generated around the world.
